This page will be focused on the original webcomic, I am unlikely to talk about the pilot as I much prefer the original comic.
I was not around for the early days of Homestuck, I am a very new fan. I read Homestuck from the 23rd of March to the 21st of April 2025. It was only a matter of time once I found out classpecting existed... I literally started reading a day after a friend posted a video about classpects!
It's not even been half a year since I finished reading and I'm already considering rereading! There are so many things I love about homestuck, especially Sburb, with all its intricacies. It's such a great system to help make a story around, homestuck is great for AUs and OCs. And there are so many characters in homestuck that I adore!
Homestuck is complicated, it has so many different concepts and ideas introduced that sometimes it can be hard to keep up. And yet for most of the time, it's about reading silly conversations between a lot of kids playing a game together. It is both of these things, it balances wonder and tragedy, complexity and silly fun times, weaving them together into a beautiful tapestry. I love complexity (if the Blood on the Clocktower page is up then that will be absolutely clear). And Homestuck has a lot of it. It's so captivating just immersing in this world, with these characters and their interactions.
When I do begin rereading Homestuck (it's on the agenda, as well as replaying Overcooked, Danganronpa and Ace Attorney) I will give my thoughts and feelings here! Mainly on the characters and Sburb, but I hope you enjoy reading!
