Death Note becoming one of my hyperfixations came out of nowhere. I'd heard about it being a good anime, so on one night when I had to work on my coursework, I put on death note. I then proceeded to watch half the series over the course of 5 or 6 hours. I finished the show over around another 3 days. Over the course of the next few months, I got Death Note posters, the first volumes of the Death Note manga and I started listening to the Death Note Musical soudntrack. My love for this damn anime has only grown over time.
